Aanchal Educational Society is a non-profit organisation which aims at providing educational and professional training to women and children belonging to economically challenged families. Founded in 2018, we are a trusted team of n members and countless philanthropic volunteers gathered over time, with a sole motive to ensure a better future for the underprivileged members of our society. We hope to expand even further in the future and be able to cover more expenses so that our services are as free of charge as possible.
We try to constantly upgrade our teaching methods to ensure our children stay prepared for the modern times, as well as improve proficiency of our professional trainings so that these individuals go on to become experts in their field.
We also pay attention to extra curricular activities like regular intrainstitutional competitions with special prizes, as well as encourage participation in special events such as Independence Day celebrations, Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations, etc. Our intention is to increase exposure and help them not only bond with other children of their age, but also explore their hidden talents.
Radhika, now 16, had lost all courage in adolescence when she had to drop out of her school because her parents couldnot afford her fees, and this was on top of not receiving quality education in the first place. Oftentimes, early marriage is seen as the only way out of such situations, and so was the case with Radhika. That was, until, she found her Ray of Hope within our institution, and was able to continue her studies. She is now all set to pursue her bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. Radhika now has no need to look for an escape, as she more than sufficient to choose her path in life.
Shraddha, Preeti, and Arushi have opened their own beauty parlours after taking practical training classes for 2 years, and now earn adequate income to raise their children.
And sometimes... Saviours need saving too The sheer perseverance that these individuals in need show against trials of fate, and the lifelong struggles of our own founder, has now become shining sources of inspiration for us volunteers as well.
And such is the story of Harshit, who, belonging to a poor family himself, felt powerless due to a never ending cycle of constant failures in life. On the verge of depression, he came in contact with our organisation and decided to become a part of our volunteers group to “be useful in some way atleast.” But, as he grew closer to these children, and helped them find their way, he slowly found his own long lost mettle in life. This positive impact of Volunteering not only helped him in making the push to finish his Masters, but also applying for and landing a secure govt job for himself. He has also found his newfound passion in dancing!
We now truly believe that helping others can help ourselves in ways we cannot even imagine. Encouraging someone can magically arouse feelings of encouragement in yourself too.
